Sree Ramuni Daya chetanu
This blog gives word-word meaning and English translation of Sumathi Satakam. Baddena Bhupala wrote 100 moral imparting two-line poems. These are similar to "Do-He"(literally meaning two-lined verses) by Kabir and Rahim in Hindi. A detailed critique of the nature, and content of Sumati Satakam can be found at Adluri Seshu Madhava Rao's blog[5,6]. "Sumati" means "good-minded" one., i.e. one who can learn when he is told morals, with examples, and similes. Satakam is a hundred. This poem is probably the first poem of the satakam (hundred) which Baddena Bhupala wrote.
